How To Download Very Big Files Within Minutes?

Hi friends, i found an intresting way to reduce the download time and to save data by using Highly Compressed versions of the files that i would like to download.
For example take a game which you like the most & whose installation file is about 6GB, Think How much time will it consume to download 6Gb & Your reaction for it?

Now after reading this post you find an intresting way to stop worrying about the download time.
It’s simple Just while searching for something which would be very big, Just add the keyword “Highly Compressed” with your search term, That’s it!

For example if you are looking to download the game “Prince of Persia” search as below:

Prince of Persia  Highly Compressed

The above search will yield you with a no. of sites offering the download of the compressed version of that game. You will find that those big games which are about 5 to GB are compressed to about just 10 to 20 MB

You too can do this by using this software KGB Archiever. But be aware that this software will use lot of memory during the compression process and slow down your computer to the atmost level. (Better avoid this work if you think your pc cannot withstand this).

How to use the Highly Compressed Download:

Basically in case of games the compressed folders can be extracted by normal softwares like winrar, 7-Zip, etc.. But, On uncompressing you will note that the file will be in .iso format. So you may need to mount it to a virtual drive to open the .iso format file, and to play the game.

Don’t worry there is a software named DAEMON Tools Lite to simplify this work for you.

How to use Daemon tools lite:
  • Just download the daemon tools lite form Here.
  • Install it.
  • On installing it you will find an additional drive on your My Computer.
  • Open Daemon tools lite.
  • Click Mount and select the .iso file to be mounted.
  • You will see the mounted files on that new drive on My Computer.
  • Open the drive and enjoy 🙂

Asus Transformer Book T100: An ultraportable workhorse

Asus Transformer Book T100: Though a known name among tech enthusiasts, Asus is yet not that popular among general consumers in India. To shed that image, the company has gone into an overdrive, releasing a slew of pocket-friendly but extremely good looking devices. Right from its range of budget-to-premium laptops like the Vivobook, Zenbook and Taichi to its Transformer range of tablets, the company is not keeping any stones unturned to fill every price segment in the market.
The Transformer range of tablets is an initiative on the company’s part to bridge the gap between a tablet, netbook and a laptop. The Transformer Book T100 is a Windows 8.1 convertible tablet. This is a new segment that is quickly gaining traction and is expected to become a separate vertical in the tablet segment. The Transformer range of tablets is an initiative on Asus' part to bridge the gap between a tablet, netbook and a laptop.
Once unpacked, the T100 does not make heads turn with its glossy back. The deep bluish-black tablet is light at just over 550 grams and compact to hold, however it has a plasticky feel. The device has a 10.1-inch screen, which is a fingerprint magnet. With a HD display measuring 1366 x 768 pixels, I felt the display quality was a bit below satisfaction. Colours did not look vibrant enough. Viewing angles were good though, thanks to the IPS display.
But where the tablet scores is the detachable keyboard that comes along. It is not a full sized keyboard with the weight same as the tablet itself, and lacks light indicators of any kind. Attached with a USB port, the keys could feel too small for someone with thicker fingers and the small built-in touchpad isn’t very responsive. Considering that the T100 is a tablet that has been priced attractively, including a keyboard is still a very smart move, and will definitely help Asus stand in better stead compared to the Acer Iconia and Dell Venue tablets, both of which lack keyboards.
Powered by an Intel Atom quad-core processor, the T100 is extremely fast. Whether its multitasking between apps, documents, browser or quickly switching from the Metro user interface to the desktop mode, the tablet
responds well.
The T100 comes loaded

Apple Inc.’s iOS 7.1 upgrade: Absolutely no shock

Apple iOS 7.1 is here. I have been looking forward to it, hoping that my iPhone 4, which slowed down dramatically in the weeks since I upgraded to iOS 7, would get a new lease of life. A couple of days after the upgrade, I think it is time to tell you if it is worth the effort.
Yes, it took the customary three tries to get this iOS upgrade through. It would be great if iTunes is able to continue an operating system download where it was paused, often due to an erratic broadband connection. The 150MB download is ‘fast’ and took me about an hour with Airtel’heys 4Mbps connection.
Shock and awe
There was absolutely no shock and awe. In fact, I was not even sure the install was done as everything from the wallpapers to the apps on the homepage looked the same. But the difference was visible when my phone rang for the first time. The rectangular swipe to answer bbutton had been replaced by a very Androidish-looking red and green buttons. The ‘Remind Me’ and ‘Message’ buttons on the call screen had also changed.
No big change in user experience here, but I can live with it.
The other big change is when you make a call. The numbers are laid out like before, but the call buttons is now a green circle instead of the rectangle before. Again, nothing great.
Apple iOS
Nothing  major, but the Weather apps is a bit different, so is the calendar. Mostly design changes that won’t impact your life much.
Apple iOS
There are changes in Siri and the virtual assistant seems to have been reined in a bit. But I use a iPhone 4 and could not check what’s new.
Problems
I faced one major problem. I am in the habit of responding to calls with ‘will call back’ messages. I haven’t been able to send one succesfully since the upgrade and I have no idea why this is happening. I was expecting issues with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, but both

New Windows Devices Announced at CES

It’s great to kick off the new year at CES, with so much energy and excitement around the industry’s latest innovations. Microsoft’s marketing and employee presence at the show is supporting our partners in their product announcements on the Windows platform and meeting to plan the many new launches and partnership activities for 2014. From new components to materials, devices, apps and services, OEMs continue to build on the strength of Windows to unlock new rich experiences for people.
We’ve seen huge growth and momentum in the tablet space over the past year. Partners have launched several small Windows 8.1 Intel-based tablets with great value, power and performance. They are also differentiated from tablets on other platforms by providing the ports users need, support for the broadest range of peripherals like older printers, pen/stylus support that makes note taking easy and Microsoft Office for productivity. Windows tablets also include the unique touch first Internet Explorer browser, Skype and Xbox so people can watch movies, play games and connect with their friends on social media, but also get stuff done on the go with Microsoft Office.
Panasonic ToughPad FZ-M1 w 8-1 startscreen
Today, Panasonic is introducing the newest small Windows ruggedized tablet, the 7” Toughpad designed for the enterprise market.
Toshiba Tecra W50 w 8-1 startscreen
Also today, Toshiba announced the Tecra W50, a new 4k mobile workstation that offers ultra HD screen resolution perfect for engineers and 3D graphic professionals.
In addition to tablets, there are a few other device categories where I see the greatest advances and creativity: 2-in-1s and all-in-ones. 2-in-1s are a no-compromise solution, providing a tablet and a PC in one. Think of a tablet with a keyboard that either detaches or flips, twists or rotates behind the screen for full tablet mode. This is a new category that is growing quickly with focus from Intel and incredible innovation from OEMs.
WW_Images_-_Product_Photography_Lenovo_Miix_2_10''_02
Yesterday, our partner Lenovo announced a number of new 2-in-1 designs including the MIIX 2 10” and MIIX 2 11” that are detachable multi-mode devices. The new capabilities in Windows 8.1 such as touch, new ways to discover what’s important to you, modern apps and cloud services enable OEMs to think differently about designing hardware. New hinge designs, touch panels, smaller and more powerful silicon chips, longer-lasting batteries, more durable materials like Corning Gorilla Glass and modern trackpads are among the latest advancements that enable people to interact with their devices in entirely new ways. Customers will think twice about buying a 10” iPad or Android tablet and consider getting a Windows 2-in-1 that provides these additional benefits and represents much more value for their money
All-in-ones are another category where OEMs are delighting customers with rotating displays, ultra-thin chassis, beautiful HD/IPS screens and built-in batteries that enable portability. An all-in-one used to sit stationary on the kitchen counter or an office desk. Now it’s considered a large portable tablet, carried from room to room for home entertainment and media, from playing multi-touch games to watching movies. These new hardware innovations built on the touch capabilities in Windows 8.1 really exemplify the magic of hardware and software working seamlessly together. Microsoft and our partners are enabling people to get the most out of the moments they care about, and these types of experiences just aren’t possible on other platforms.
Windows devices offer more ways to create an experience that is personal, expressive and just right for both personal and business tasks. And with the enhancements in Windows 8.1 including cloud integration, enhanced Search, personalization and new ways to multi-task, the 1.5 billion people around the world using Windows have the widest breadth of advanced devices to choose from.
Despite the benefits of touch for both consumers and business customers, we’ve also seen lots of momentum in low price devices. Microsoft and our OEMs have some great offerings here, one in particular that is doing very well especially against Android-based devices is the ASUS X502CA that delivers all the benefits of Windows at just $279.
Congratulations to all of our OEM partners that announced new Windows devices at CES this year! We look forward to bringing them to market together in 2014 and continuing to develop and support the broad Windows ecosystem to deliver amazing experiences for customers.

Scaling Windows Phone, evolving Windows 8

A lot of you folks know me as “the Windows Phone guy.” Over the past five years I’ve been co-managing the Windows Phone product team on a mission to make Windows Phone a delightful and successful platform. Recently my job changed to focus not just on Windows Phone but also on the user experience of Windows 8 and future versions of Windows. Today Nick Parker and I had a chance to talk to media and analysts from around the world attending Mobile World Congress in Barcelona—we shared some updates about Windows and Windows Phone, and we announced a new phase in our plan to continue growing and scaling Windows Phone globally.
Windows Phone: Growth in the last year
Let’s start with Windows Phone.
We’ve experienced steady growth in recent years due to our “highly personal” approach to the smartphone experience and the amazing devices we’ve seen from our hardware partners HTC, Huawei, Nokia and Samsung. Together we’ve solidified our spot among the top three operating systems and celebrated some impressive milestones:
  • Recognized as the fastest growing OS with 91% year-over-year growth in 2013 (IDC, February 2014)
  • More than 10% share across Europe—which is more than double compared with last year. (Kantar Worldpanel ComTech, January 2014)
  • Most important to me, we’ve seen high customer satisfaction data—a fact that even our competitors have acknowledged!
  • Reached critical mass in the Windows Phone Store (now over 240,000 apps) and are still growing – fast – with an average of 500 apps added each day. We’ve had key additions such as Instagram, Vine, Waze and Mint—and today, we announced Facebook Messenger will be available in the coming weeks.
This past year was especially busy as we delivered three updates to the Windows Phone platform—we continued building the platform out for scale (via new chipsets, new carrier/country support, and more screen sizes) and we enabled some great scenarios for customers (e.g. the Nokia Lumia 41 MP camera and advanced camera features).
New Windows Phone Hardware Partners
Broadly speaking, our partners overall are the engine of growth for Windows. In addition to our great partners HTC, Huawei, Nokia and Samsung, today in Barcelona we announced we’re now working with nine new Windows Phone partners, including: Foxconn, Gionee, JSR, Karbonn, Lava (Xolo), Lenovo,LG, Longcheer and ZTE. Collectively, Windows Phone partners make up an impressive 56 percent of the global smartphone market, according to IDC.
This is exciting news for phone buyers around the world. With seven of the top 10 global OEMs—in addition to some of the leading brands in China, India and Taiwan— now collaborating with Windows Phone, you can expect to see an incredible new range of devices across screen sizes and price points. And of course we’re committed to delivering this device diversity without compromising the consistent, designed-around-you Windows Phone experience our users have grown to love.
Some of these partners are names that might not be familiar to you, but they’re leading the global expansion in the smartphone category. They bring competitive products to market because of their knowledge of the local markets, channels and consumers. They are important partners that will help broaden availability of Windows Phones to new and emerging markets.
New Windows Phone Hardware Support
Getting a wider range of device builders to create Windows Phones required us to enable even more hardware flexibility and to make the engineering process of building a Windows Phone even easier. Thus we also announced:
  • We are adding support for Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 and 400 series chipsets, with options that support all major cellular technologies, including LTE (TDD/FDD), HSPA+, EVDO and TD-SCMA. We will also support soft keys and dual SIMwhere our partners want it for their devices. One nice benefit of these additions is that many hardware vendors will be able to use the same hardware for both Android and Windows Phone devices.
  • To streamline the process of building a Windows Phone device, today we launched the Windows Hardware Partner Portal so that all our hardware partners will have direct access to the tools and content needed to build and market their Windows Phone devices efficiently and cost-effectively.
We also are working closely with Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. to help manufacturers anywhere in the world quickly and easily broaden their portfolio by building Windows Phone devices through the well-established Qualcomm Reference Design (QRD) program. Making it easier for manufacturers to take advantage of reference design options is an important step for Windows Phone. ABI Research notes a major smartphone industry shift towards reference designs since they speed time to market, and estimates that more than 400 million reference design smartphones will be shipped in 2014.
Evolving Windows 8
As part of my “new job,” I talked as well about Windows on tablets and PCs, and what to expect from us in the near future.
We are committed to making Windows the best place for our partners to build great devices. Today that means different screen sizes, input methods, connectivity needs, and usage scenarios. Above all, we want that experience to feel natural for our customers. We want it to be familiar and tailored to the device. We want your stuff to be there no matter where you are, ready for whatever you need, and we want it to run beautifully on hardware made by partners around the world.
With Windows 8, there’s no doubt that we made a big bet and took a first step toward that future. We bet on touch and on mobility in a big way, and included a fresh take on what a touch-based interface could be for customers. We believe deeply in this direction and the future will continue to build on Windows 8.
We shipped Windows 8.1 in under a year in response to customer and partner feedback, and we’ll continue to refine and improve Windows to deliver a productive and delightful experience for all users on all devices. And, you’ll see us continue on a more rapid release cadence where we deliver ongoing value to all your Windows devices.
Over the next few months, we’ll continue to deliver innovation and progression with an update to Windows 8.1, coming this spring. We’re especially excited about several things I want to preview with you here.
  • We’ll enable our partners to build lower cost hardware for a great Windows experience at highly competitive price points.
  • We are making improvements to the user interface that will naturally bridge touch and desktop, especially for our mouse and keyboard users. We have a number of targeted UI improvements that keep our highly satisfying touch experience intact, but that make the UI more familiar and more convenient for users with mouse/keyboard. Don’t worry, we still LOVE and BELIEVE IN touch… but you’ll like how much more smooth and convenient these changes make mouse and keyboard use!
  • We are enhancing support for enterprise customers via a few tweaks, particularly including features that greatly improve IE8 compatibility in Internet Explorer 11, which is especially critical for web-based line of business applications. Additionally, we’re extending mobile device management capabilities and making deployment easier.
More news still to come
Speaking of our enterprise customers, we are also hard at work on delivering a compelling new update for Windows Phone that will add key features for consumers, as well as a big investment in enterprise customer capabilities, including VPN, S/MIME support, enterprise Wi-Fi, extended mobile device management and certificate management. Along with a host of great developer and consumer value, we expect to deliver this to customers this spring with new phones following as we move into summer.
2013 was an exciting and busy year chock full of big changes in our industry and at Microsoft. I’m really excited about seeing what the new and hot technologies are as Mobile World Congress opens tomorrow, and even more excited about the work we’ll be able to deliver for customers, partners and developers over the next several months. Stay tuned!

Hands-On: NVIDIA GTX 750 Ti Graphics Card

NVIDIA engineers have been hard at work developing a new graphics platform that pushes the limit of both performance and efficiency: it’s called Maxwell. NVIDIA has just released the first GPUs based on Maxwell, the GeForce GTX 750 and GeForce GTX 750 Ti. In this article I’ll share my first-hand experiences with the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti, a powerful graphics platform with corresponding graphics cards starting at just $139.99.
GTX-750-Ti-Hero-1200
A reference card based on the new GTX 750 Ti GPU
Graphics cards based on the GTX 750 and 750 Ti are easy to work with and versatile because of their compact size, and the fact that they are bus powered. You don’t need to worry about having PCI-e power for these cards thanks to the super-power-efficient Maxwell architecture that these GPUs are built on.
Here are some specs for the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti:
  • CUDA Cores: 640
  • Base Clock: 1,020 MHz
  • Boost Clock: 1,085 MHz
  • Memory Configurations: 2GB or 1GB/128-bit GDDR5
  • Memory Speed: 5.4 Gbps
  • Power Connectors: None
  • TDP: 60W
  • Outputs: 2x DL-DVI, mini-HDMI Displayport 1.2 (Optional)
  • Bus Interface: PCI Express 3.0
And here are some detailed specs for the GTX 750 Ti as seen in GPU-Z:
GPUZ-GTX-750Ti
GPU Details as shown in the GPU-Z tool from TechPowerUp
It’s remarkable that you can get this kind of GPU horsepower at an entry-level price point. The specs look great on paper, but the real story is told when you put your GPU to the test with intense PC gaming. In order to put this card through its paces, I decided to run the GTX 750 Ti with BF4 to see how it would perform.
Test 1: BF4 @ 1920×1080 Resolution
I started with the most common PC gaming screen resolution: full-HD (1920×1080). BF4 played very well at this resolution with the GTX 750 Ti with no noticeable stutter or lag.
GTX-780-Ti-BF4-FRAPS-1920x1080
Running FRAPS, I observed FPS values ranging from 74 FPS on “Medium” settings to 52 FPS at “High” settings, and 36 FPS on “Ultra” settings. As you can see, the GTX 750 Ti performs quite well with BF4 at full-HD screen resolution.
Test 2: BF4 @ 2560×1440 Resolution
My second test was to play BF4 at WQHD screen resolution (2560×1440) with the GTX 750 Ti. Just as with the full-HD tests, BF4 gameplay was smooth, but FPS values were best on “Medium” settings.
GTX-780-Ti-BF4-2560x1440
Actual FPS values from this test were 55 FPS for “Medium” settings, 30 FPS for “High” settings, and 23 FPS for “Ultra” settings.
If you are looking for a graphics card that is compact in size, easy on the budget, and will rock DirectX games at full-HD or WQHD resolution, the GTX 750 Ti is definitely worth a look. I’m off to do more “testing” – catch you all later!
